The Les Hommes Education Foundation, Inc. pledges its continuing support to all students in the Tidewater area (which is defined as Gloucester, Hampton, James City County, Newport News, Williamsburg, and York County) of Virginia who are interested in advancing their education beyond the high school level. For seniors attending public schools in Gloucester, Hampton, James City County, Newport News, Williamsburg, and York County, Virginia, we encourage you to download and complete the Les Hommes Education Foundation, Inc. scholarship application in the January-March 2023 timeframe. In 2022, the Les Hommes Education Foundation awarded seven (7) scholarships to college bound high school seniors attending public schools in the Tidewater area.
Ms. Zomara Lee (Kecoughtan High School) was the recipient of the Wendell Braxton $1,500 scholarship award and Mr. Seven Warren (Warwick High School) was the recipient of the $1,500 Knox W. Tull Sr., Memorial Scholarship award. Five students were recipients of the Les Hommes Education Foundation $1,000 scholarship awards:
Ms. Ashley Johnson (Bethel High School), Ms. Chloe Anderson (Bruton High School),
Mr. Derrick Crockett (York High School), Ms. Khya Goolsby (Kecoughtan High School), and Ms. Samaiya Dixon (Lafayette High School). A group photograph of the 2022 recipients along with the college/university they are attending is pictured below:
